On Friday evening, thirty-eight Club members and guests sat down to a tremendous four course Indian meal, prepared by chef Seamus assisted by ‘Sandro.
Poppadums were the starter, served with three different home made accompaniments: for many, the aubergine based hot chutney was the star. The main course was either buttered chicken or a spicier chicken dish, served with aromatic rice, dhal, potatoes and a salad.
Home made desserts and a cheese course finished off the very fine meal.
Thanks to Caroline, David, and Amanda for all their work preparing for this event, and also to those who helped on the evening in clearing away, etc..
Seamus may well be back to cater for the Harvest Supper in the autumn, so book your place early when details are announced!
